A few years ago I received a scarf for Christmas. The scarf came as part of a gloves, hat and scarf set bought from lovepashminas.com and all three items are a bright white with glitter that make it shine! What I love about my scarf is that the color goes with all of my wool coats. I love wool coats so I have two in black, one in a bright green and one in a royal blue. I can wear my scarf with any one of those coats! Or I can even wear my scarf without a coat. I can wear it to the office or I can wear it to an evening with friends, it's versatile! The downside of a white scarf is that it gets dirty quickly. So when I go out to dinner or someplace where I might get dirty, I am always careful to keep my scarf away from my food. |

I do love shoes - from the pink occasion shoes I recently bought, to trainers to high heels. If there is one "must have" item for just about every occasion requiring any fashion at all, it is a pair of black pumps. It doesn't matter if they are patent leather, kid leather, soft leather or even PVC. They can be peeptoe, slingback, classic or strappy. It really doesn’t matter, because they are so easy to fit in to almost any ensemble in your closet. They don't need a bunch of ornamentation because your foot in them is all they need to make men look twice. The way they accentuate a toned calf, and hint at the pedicured toes inside by showing a little bit of toe cleavage is something nature did not provide men with any defense against. A pair of black pumps shows class in the widest range of settings and will be the shoe you reach for most, so picking a comfortable but stylish pair is important. Try a few styles and brands to find the one that works best for you. |

For a fancy dress party I would probably dress up as someone cool, intimidating and laid back. This is because it shows who I am but I would also like something really fun to be and a real challenge. So, I would like to be Emily from the "Corpse Bride" by Tim Burton and Mike Johnson as directors. I think it would be a real challenge to get the make up on, to find a dress and to act as her. Of course I would never be as good as Helena Boham Carter but I would try my very best! I also want to be this character because I love the film. It is really touching yet also a very dark tale with lots of history feeling and maybe what the Victorian Era was like (my type of story). I also think that this character has a lot goodness in her. She was killed by her betrothed who never loved her and when she finally finds someone to love, Victor, she lets him go because Victor loves Victoria. She truly is a good and selfless person - so that is why I would find it amazing to be her at a fancy dress party. Oh and also she looks so cool and freaky that if I was her I would freak everyone out! |

While my friends love more decorative fashion items like bangles and bracelets, I'm into more practical fashion items. Everyday for the past few months, I visited this particular store to see if a certain brand of shoes is still in stock. It is quite pricey so I cannot afford to buy it in an instant. So, I have to save for it in the hopes that it will still be in stock once I have enough money to buy it. It was an Adidas Shoes akin to the one Kobe Bryant had worn during their championship game with the Boston Celtics, a purple and yellow high cut shoes. Also, the brand advertised that it will increase the wearer's jumping ability for at least a couple of inches. I love playing basketball and I always envy the other players who wear signature and fashionable shoes. The thing is, when I'm about to buy the said shoes, I saw that my supervisor have bought the exact same pair and since he's one of my basketball buddy, I decided not to buy the same pair because it may appear that as if I'm idolizing him. I just bought a different pair for the same brand. |

Though I have a wide range of fashion tastes - from the boutique (my Fever dresses etc) to the dress-down (my jeans), there's one item I can't live without: my designer sneakers. I am very particular with the brands that I will wear. I love Adidas, Nike, Lacoste, Asics, Dunlop and Vans. This may seem a little bit silly but I think I am addicted to wearing them. For Christmas I got an awesome pair of Lacoste canvas sneakers. I could not wait to show them off to all my friends. Sadly, they did not even notice them when I wore them out over the weekend. I guess they are used to seeing me in sneakers as well. I prefer wearing sneakers as they do not cause any pain when I walk and can easily walk home from university which is an hours a walk. I normally wear them with a dress or a pair of skinny leg jeans. They also look fantastic with denim shorts. I have over 20 pairs and am quite proud of my collection. |

I know I’m not alone here, we have all been in trouble trying to get a present for someone, it’s not that easy, it might sound like it but it’s not! Sometimes it can be real hard to get that special someone a gift, mainly because we tend to to think about the worst case scenario which is that the gift just won’t cut it and the other person won’t like it or at least that’s what happens to me but anyway I’m here to tell you what kind of gifts I like to give, my all time favorite has to be perfumes because most of my friends and family love perfumes and I know beforehand that if I get a perfume for somebody it won’t be a bad gift I also like to give books and sometimes jewellery, even making my own jewellery with jewellery making supplies. I will tell you a little secret on how you can know what to give to somebody, just go to the mall with them! Of course with anticipation of at least a week so he or she won’t suspect anything! And then just go and look at stuff and he or she will reveal what they want or what they would like to get! It’s plain and simple and it works all of the times! Unfortunately I have to go now…need to buy a present for someone,bye! |
