Buy Me a Pair of Lacoste Canvas Sneakers Pleaseposted on 26 January 2012 in FashionThough I have a wide range of fashion tastes - from the boutique (my Fever dresses etc) to the dress-down (my jeans), there's one item I can't live without: my designer sneakers. I am very particular with the brands that I will wear. I love Adidas, Nike, Lacoste, Asics, Dunlop and Vans. This may seem a little bit silly but I think I am addicted to wearing them. For Christmas I got an awesome pair of Lacoste canvas sneakers. I could not wait to show them off to all my friends. Sadly, they did not even notice them when I wore them out over the weekend. I guess they are used to seeing me in sneakers as well. I prefer wearing sneakers as they do not cause any pain when I walk and can easily walk home from university which is an hours a walk. I normally wear them with a dress or a pair of skinny leg jeans. They also look fantastic with denim shorts. I have over 20 pairs and am quite proud of my collection. |

Keep Your Streets Clean Citizens of the Civilised Worldposted on 26 January 2012 in Construction and IndustrialI have always wondered how someone can throw a wrapper or can to the ground without a care in the world. No matter how hard I try, I just do not possess such a careless attitude. And it doesn't take me long before I find a bin I can put the rubbish into. I work selling underground oil tanks so I'm aware of the potential of environmental damage, and I am extra conscious not to damage the environment by my own actions. And for me, even a single chocolate wrapper can lead to much greater damage - that single wrapper gives a license to other litterers out there that you can do it - it's ok - you can litter here. A clean street would be a lot more imposing to such a careless person, and I think we should aim to keep our streets and parks completely spotless and litter-free. |

Dirty Streets Create a Feeling Of Being In Dangerposted on 24 January 2012 in Cars and TransportStreets littered with dirt thrown everywhere give a poor impression of these streets. It creates an atmosphere where people will not feel well. This is an aspect of the streets being unclean that is often overlooked. When the road sweepers come in and you start to remove this negative experience, and clean the streets people are living in, then they will start to feel better. Setting up a regular cleaning schedule is of course necessary. Keeping the streets clean is to be considered a basic service to the community. This could be done by municipal workers, or by people living in this street, whom have been given the responsibility to keep their street clean. The returned cleanliness will then in return help to strengthen the sense of community. Removing the negative effect of dirts in the streets will improve the way people feel, will improve their level of happiness, and will improve the way your community sees itself. |

The Fun Way to Move Around America: In a Motorhomeposted on 22 January 2012 in Holiday and TravelMy family and I decided to rent a motorhome from RV America to help us move across the country a few years ago. We had packed up the house and had a moving company truck our belongings, including our cars, to the new home while we traveled comfortably in a motor home. We took our time, and the 3 week experience was wonderful. We stopped at multiple locations along the way. We visited various national parks and other camping areas, some of the classics like Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore, but also some off the beaten track. The RV handled the trip great. The best part about it was we had all our pets with us and got to see parts of the country we would never have had the opportunity to see had we moved any other way. All together the trip was fantastic and we are definitely planning on moving the same way for our next big move. |

Myriad Ideas With a Ribbonposted on 21 January 2012 in FashionI know I’m not alone here, we have all been in trouble trying to get a present for someone, it’s not that easy, it might sound like it but it’s not! Sometimes it can be real hard to get that special someone a gift, mainly because we tend to to think about the worst case scenario which is that the gift just won’t cut it and the other person won’t like it or at least that’s what happens to me but anyway I’m here to tell you what kind of gifts I like to give, my all time favorite has to be perfumes because most of my friends and family love perfumes and I know beforehand that if I get a perfume for somebody it won’t be a bad gift I also like to give books and sometimes jewellery, even making my own jewellery with jewellery making supplies. I will tell you a little secret on how you can know what to give to somebody, just go to the mall with them! Of course with anticipation of at least a week so he or she won’t suspect anything! And then just go and look at stuff and he or she will reveal what they want or what they would like to get! It’s plain and simple and it works all of the times! Unfortunately I have to go now…need to buy a present for someone, bye! |

Facing My Fears: the Dentist Isn't That Badposted on 20 January 2012 in Health and BeautyA couple of years ago I went to the dentist for the first time in several years. Despite needing dental work on my front teeth - some dental implants? - I had been putting off going to the dentist, partly out of fear of the pain that would be involved, and partly for fear of ridicule by the dentist. I decided that I would face my fears and go to the dentist to improve my oral health. Both of my fears turned out to be mostly unfounded. The dentist was friendly if a little brisk. She chided me for staying away from visiting the dentist for so long but reassured me that I had done the right thing. After a consultation I was told to come back for three appointments over the next month. Two of the appointments required me to undergo a local anaesthetic. The needle caused a sharp pain in my gum for a few seconds, but after that I relaxed and the dentist was able to carry out her work. My mouth was numb for about an hour afterwards but I am very pleased with the results and I feel much better for facing my fear!? |

Trusted sites deserve to be recognizedposted on 20 January 2012 in Business and FinanceThe good thing about organizations which have been in the market for a long time is that they will never give you services that are not satisfying. You can put your trust in such sites whether they are online or not, because they have helped many others and no complain has been raised concerning their services. A good example of such a company is that in Tamworth area, a site which has served close to one million people and gave them job opportunities to secure for themselves. The good thing about tamworth jobs is that they are always available, and those who receive your application letters are there twenty four hours round the clock meaning once you upload your CV it is worked on instantly. You can visit the tamworth website and see for yourself the testimonials and comments which people leave when they visit the site or are served by them. It is a good thing to know that not all sites are after our money but also want to see to it that the public is served and they get what they wish to when they visit these sites. |

Candid Opinions: Facebook Is a Complete Waste of Timeposted on 18 January 2012 in Internet RelatedI was pushed by a friend to sign up about a year ago for Facebook. At first I really enjoyed it, making Facebook banners and finding old friends I had not seen for years. But very soon I noticed there was a reason why I had not seen those friends for years, because they were not really friends. On Facebook we did not really get any further then a short update about our lives and we both went our separate ways again. So after a few months I started to use Facebook less and less. Eventually the whole thing started to get on my nerves because most people were posting completely superfluous information. Whether they were baking a cake, drinking a latte macchiato, waiting for the bus, cleaning the house, or just being bored people felt a need to share this useless information with the rest of the world. I found myself checking Facebook less and less and finally I decided to quit. So I unsubscribed and I have not missed it for a minute. |
